The Story Behind the Rub
Originally developed as Texas Wild Game Rub for hunters cooking bison, venison, elk, and wild hog, we introduced it in November 2006 at the Third Annual QFest. The response was overwhelming!
As we tested it on pork ribs, brisket, pork loin, and standing rib roast, we discovered it was exceptional on all traditional BBQ meats too. The versatility was undeniable, so we rebranded it simply as "Texas Wild" to appeal to a broader audience.
